Modern inner city terrace living is featured here at it’s absolute finest! Fresh, light and with an air of Scandinavian design, KWD was proud to be involved as a key supply partner of 50 Moor Street. Working with boutique property developers Milieu and the innovative builders at Project Group, Kate Walker from KWD specified, sourced and supplied several of the hard finishes incorporated into these 5 brand new apartments.  The apartments were designed by Richmond architectural firm, Neil Architecture.  To see more of their exciting work, please visit their website at http://www.neilarchitecture.com.au.

Superbly finished and beautifully crafted, European Oak floorboards in a smoked honey finish have been used throughout the entire property. This flooring reflects the Scandinavian style with it’s lighter shade and sustainable sourcing.

In the kitchens, elegant Carrara marble was sourced for the bench tops and splashbacks. High quality and timeless, marble appeals to the most discerning eye, whilst remaining chic and stylish. Superb joinery compliments the marble. Timber veneer, crisp white joinery and subtle black elements create an industrial edge whilst still feeling warm and inviting.

In the bathrooms, KWD supplied 300×600 blue stone inspired porcelain floor tiles. Sharp and chic, these tiles work beautifully with the walls tiles – extra large rectified matt white 300×900.

Whilst the cute pooch does not come with 50 Moore Street, the European Oak stairs with specialised timber treads certainly do! They will wear beautifully and are unlikely to date any time soon.

Carpeting in the above bedroom is a simple yet quality grey plush pile. It adds an extra element of warmth, particularly in the cooler months.

Outside, Kate’s suggestion of sawn bluestone pavers was incorporated in several spaces. This product is an attractive solution for low maintenance external zones.

With a slight industrial edge, 50 Moore Street is likely to suit young professionals.  Nestled between Carlton Gardens and Brunswick Street, the apartments are perfectly placed in a leafy residential pocket, in the heart of one of Melbourne’s most dynamic cultural precincts and within walking distance to the CBD.
