Project: 21 Prescott Avenue, Mount Martha Architect: Wolveridge Architects Builder: MRB Constructions Few new homes are designed and contructed to a level like 21 Prescott Avenue in Mount Martha. Spectacularly modern with a firm emphasis on quality and functionality, this project is a KWD local favourite.

Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the contemporary home is the grand fireplace. Constructed using natural limestone dry wall cladding, the wall is even more incredible in person. It’s sheer size and perfect form make it a wonderful focal point in the main living zone.

Bringing the outdoors in, the vast sliding doors move right back inside a wall cavity. Expansive timber decking extends beyond the side of the house creating a generous outdoor space to entertain and relax.

Another ‘wow factor’ can be found in the kitchen. The enviable bench top is a combination of gleaming pietra grigio stone and american oak. Blended perfectly and surrounded by timber veneer joinery and state of the art Miele appliances, the kitchen is a culinary masterpiece.

Timber oak flooring extends throughout the open plan living area. It’s a great choice for a home of such high quality whilst remaining appropriate for high traffic areas.

Floor to ceiling travertine inspired porcelain tiles were specified, sourced and supplied by KWD in both the main and children’s bathrooms. The tiles measure 600×300 in a honed finish. They create the look of stone without the maintenance.

The bedrooms at Prescott Avenue include loop pile 100% wool carpet. In keeping with the owner/builder’s attention to detail, this flooring is of the highest quality.

21Prescott (23) Outside, KWD specified, sourced and supplied the classic white porcelain pool tiles 58x58mm. The white tiles give the water a “resort blue” colour, making it irresistible to dive right in.

21Prescott (22) 21 Prescott Ave is currently for sale through Nicholas Lynch Real Estate. Expected to fetch over $3 million, the house sits on a 1036 square metres of prime Mt Martha land. For further details head to www.nicholaslynch.com.au IMG_4366
