Project: 8 Birdrock Avenue
Location: Mt Martha
BUILDER/DESIGNER: Marradon Constructions
“Exceptional contemporary coastal living”
This Birdrock Avenue project is another fine example of quality construction by local building firm Marradon Construction. The team at Marradon Construction carefully manage the unique relationship between builder, client, architect and contractor in order to design, build and manage each project from start to finish.
In collaboration with Marradon Construction, Kate Walker of Kate Walker Design helped specify, several of the hard finishes used throughout the home.Their work ensures this property stands out as one of the finest examples of Mornington Peninsula real estate .
Flooring: Nano sealed, full bodied rectified polished porcelain 600×600 in off white were incorporated in the main living areas and bathrooms. A light and neutral flooring such as this allows any colour palette to be introduced through furniture pieces and other soft furnishings. These tiles are also timeless meaning they will not easily date.
The polished porcelain tiles were also specified on the floors and walls in the bathroom and ensuite. The neutral colour scheme flows seamlessly throughout the house.
Outside: Covering the external terrace and alfresco dining area is an exfoliated porcelain tile in mid grey 600×600. This eye catching tile mimics granite.
8c Birdrock Ave is one of several houses situated on the block, it’s close to all that Mt Martha and the surrounding coastal areas have to offer. Its location and modern finishes make it an appealing abode for families, retirees and almost anyone looking for the ultimate sea change!.
