‘Allure’ at 17 Strachans Road in Mornington is a brand new luxury beachside residence. It reflects both quality and exceptional taste. Located in an ideal position close to Main Street Mornington and Fisherman’s Beach ‘Allure’ is the ideal coastal oasis. Brought to fruition with the hard work of a team of design and building experts, Kate Walker of KWD was a key member of that professional group.

Materials Specified:

Flooring: Engineered European Oak flooring in Elephant Skin is a warm and inviting element of this home. It’s a quality product and specified in this neutral colour, will never date.

Kitchen: For the waterfall bench top Kate specified Caesar stone in Buttermilk. The cabinetry is a striated laminate timber veneer in a strong charcoal/brown shade.

Bathroom:  In the main bathroom and ensuite, Italian travertine cross cut honed and filled was laid. This tile is of the highest quality and reflects the classic scheme of the house whilst still being modern and fresh. White 300×600 rectified wall tiles were also specified to ensure the light airy feel of the bathroom was maintained.

Bedrooms: For durability and comfort Kate specified 100% wool carpet in Ravine, Stonewall.

Exterior: Large areas of the exterior coastal façade are tiled with Italian Travertine honed and unfilled as well as random sandstone crazy paving. It provides texture, street appeal and an exceptional quality finish.
