When Anthony Lynch launched his window furnishing business in 2013, it was the beginning of his passionate endeavour to provide the market with an in-depth knowledge of the latest and most effective fashions for windows. At the core of Lynch’s Window Fashions was the desire to offer outstanding customer service, the best product available in every category and a level of experience in the design, manufacture and installation that the market hadn’t experienced before – and that’s still what drives the business 11 years on.

Explains Anthony, “We’re fortunate because we have established such a great relationship with interior designers, architects and builders, and with consumers, and we’re just as passionate today as we were when we launched. My wife Bree joined me after six years of running the operation on my own with my team, and the business has gone from strength to strength as her skill set complements our offering so perfectly.”
Forging strong relationships based on integrity and trust has been at the forefront of Lynch’s Window Fashions, and KWD has loved working alongside Anthony, Bree and the team knowing that no matter the size of the project and the challenges faced, they will come up with the best possible solution for the client. They can always be relied on to design, install and deliver the best product and the most positive experience.
Says Anthony, “The architects and designers we work with have a myriad of aspects to consider during the build process whereas we have one singular focus, and that is to be a partner that they can rely on to supply beautiful window furnishings. They just know the task will get done with passion and precision.”

“We have an incredible team, so we know that every client is looked after efficiently and effectively. Importantly, every team member is a friend who we had a relationship with prior to employing them. They are all as invested in the company as Bree and I are, and that creates a win-win situation. We want them to enjoy every aspect of their job and in turn we get their maximum effort in return. They really are our family, and we don’t take it for granted.”

The world of window furnishings can be daunting, but Anthony and his team do their best to make the process as simple and straight forward as possible. Explains Anthony, “As a non-frequent purchase, often clients have no idea what to expect in terms of the financial side but also the options that are available. It can be overwhelming, so we try and make it an enjoyable experience. There is such a spectrum of costs associated with creating the ideal window treatments, depending on the scope and selections. Our task is to educate our clients and understand what their budget is, so we provide the best outcome at the right price. We love working with all types of homes, hospitality venues and commercial premises – it’s what keeps us excited and inspired on a daily basis. Tailoring every specification to suit the client is the most rewarding challenge of what we do.”

Lynch’s Window Fashions offers the complete spectrum of window treatments. “There’s nothing that you can fit on a window that we don’t work with, from curtains to blinds to shutters and awnings, over the years we have continued to explore, research and expand our knowledge base and our offering. We have also introduced four different leading brands from Europe with revolutionary technology and techniques to produce the best possible product.”

In terms of the production timeline, most window furnishings take four to eight weeks to manufacture, with exceptions for imported external products. “We generally recommend getting in touch with us around three months prior to installation, to give us enough time to determine what the best solution is, to measure and quote, to select the right items and to deliver on time. Beyond looking at plans or working with flat lays, our team finds visiting the home or site the most important part of the process for offering the best advice. The light can vary greatly throughout a project, so even if we visit a building site we can determine the best recommendation.”

KWD turned to Lynch’s Window Fashions when specifying the window treatments for the My Happy Space Movement projects, and they immediately wanted to help in any way they could. “From the moment Kate explained her philanthropic venture we knew we wanted to be a part of bringing joy to children in need. As parents we always want to support others in any we can – it’s in our DNA as people as well as business owners. Our relationship with Kate and the whole team is really valued, so whenever we have the chance to support their cause, and to help bring smiles to young people in need, we will always do our best to provide the window furnishings they need.”
